Claire graduated with a bachelors degree in dentistry from UCC in 1984. She worked in the Health Service and in private practice in both Ireland and the UK. She was awarded Master of Clinical Dentistry in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics from Kings College, University of London in 2009.
Prosthodontics is the area of dentistry concerned with advanced crown and bridgework, dentures and implants. Prosthodontists are typically involved in complex dental cases where several teeth have to be restored, teeth have suffered excessive wear, previous dental prosthetic treatment has failed and/or where occlusal (bite) stability needs to be re-established.
Claire completed a postgraduate certificate in dental implants with the Oxford Society of Implantology conducted by Professor Manuel Chanavaz.

Dr John Browne BDS NUI MSc (Endodontics) U Lond

John is a native of Cork and qualified with a BDS from UCC in 2002. He was in general practice for 7 years in both the Ireland and the UK. He attended many courses both nationally and internationally on the subject of endodontics (root canal treatments). In 2009, John started a full time masters programme in endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute in London and was recently awarded an MSc in Endodontics. He has now limited his practice to endodontics and undertakes all aspects of both non-surgical and surgical endodontic treatment.
Dr Mairead Browne BDS NUI MFDS RCSI

Mairead graduated from University College Cork with an honours bachelor degree in dentistry. After graduation she worked in both private and public practice in Ireland. Mairead continued her postgraduate training in the Cork University Hospital where she gained experience in on-call emergency and maxillofacial dentistry. She completed her membership in the faculty of dental surgeons with the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland in 2008 and recently attended the Facial Aesthetic Academy in London for training in the use of use of dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections.
Arran Slavin RDH
Arran qualified as a hygienist in 1998 from the dental school in UCC. She has over 10 years experience in providing private hygiene services in dental practices in Cork and Kerry. Arran has also worked in the research department of the dental school and particpated in a number of research projects into various aspects of periodontal disease. She is dedicated to providing gentle hygiene services to our patients giving them the information and motivation to maintain the health of their gums. Arran has recently completed a course giving an update on current dental nursing and hygenist practices as well as the clinical application of Facial Aesthetic techniques. She has worked with Claire since 2003.
