The intra-oral camera is a very small camera that can be used to capture high-quality images of your teeth and gums. It is very useful in recording the physical symptoms of various dental conditions and can help diagnosis. The intra-oral camera allows us to illustrate proposed treatment and any observed symptoms by showing them to you on a computer screen.

No pain injections are routinely performed using the Wand which is a painless, computer controlled system for delivering anaesthesia directly to the tooth. Many patients have unpleasent memories of needles, often associated with trips to the dentists. We have received very favourable feedback from patients who have experienced the Wand and it has helped many patients (some who last attended the dentist 20 -30 years ago) to overcome their fears.

Another very welcome benefit of the Wand is that it avoids the uncomfortable sensation of numbed face and lips that are associated with dental injections. This allows you to go about your business after dental treatment without your face feeling numb for most of the rest of the day.

We also provide conscious sedation in the form of oral sedation or nitrous oxide for nervous patients.
